The Board

The Board is the highest decision-making body regarding the operation of NST and GRIs. It reviews and resolves significant issues of NST and institutes under it.

  • Where matters concerning the advance notice, pre-planning, public offering, selection, conclusion of an agreement, performance, management, evaluation, modification, suspension, etc. of basic projects of research institutes or research associations are determined.
  • Evaluation methods, contents, targets, and other necessary factors that need to be considered
  • Decisions on matters regarding announcement, preliminary planning, solicitation, selection, signing contracts, implementation, management, evaluation, any change and termination of the basic programme of NST or GRIs
  • Other matters that the Board deems necessary
