01. Development of and support for HR policies

Purpose

To accomplish GRIs’ duties and enhance research performance by developing and providing support for HR policies

02. Securing talented individuals and support for recruitment

Purpose

To implement policies of securing talented individuals for GRIs and assist in holding briefing sessions on joint recruitment for securing talented individuals

03. Customized HR support and job training

Purpose

To provide an opportunity for those who have recently acquired a Ph.D. in natural sciences and engineering to undergo R&D training at GRI based on the institutes' available R&D infrastructure

Details

Provide financial assistance for stable personnel expenses and research competence/career development programs to help trainees grow as competent researchers (Personnel expenses: KRW 60 million per person per year)

04. Support for highly-experienced researchers and recruiting the disadvantaged groups

Purpose

To utilize talented individuals, taking the diversity of talents into account in response to low birth rates and an aging population

  • Devise HR support and development plans tailored to different life stages, including highly-experienced researchers and those nearing retirement
  • Foster an environment for attracting various types of talented individuals, including the accomplishment of policy goals for female scientists and engineers and persons with disabilities
