(22. 8. 18.) NST participated in the 35th Korea-US Science and Technology Conference (UKC 2022) and held a joint session on quantum computing with GRIs. Dr. Bok Chul Kim, as the representative of NST attended the event and participated in the Choi Jong-Hyeon Academy's Breakfast Talk and Korea-US STI Talk Concert where he proposed suggestions for the next 50 years and opinions on what Korea needs to focus on to truly become a science and technology powerhouse. Moreover, researchers from ETRI, KIST, KRISS participated in the joint session and delivered current research progress related to quantum computing technology of each institution, whereas Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Amazon Web Services presented the research trend of quantum computing in the United States.
