01. Contributing to regional development by supporting and fostering regional branches of GRIs
Purpose
To contribute to local innovation by supporting GRIs' regional branches and enhancing their operational efficiency
Details
- Aid the installation and operation of GRIs' regional branches in accordance with relevant standards andprocedures*
warning Regional branches are founded in accordance with the “NST Regulation on the Installation and Operation of Member Research Institutes”
- Aid the operation of and cooperation among GRIs' regional branches*
warning Providing support for the operation of regional consultative groups and project planning utilizing regional branches (e.g. 1. Support for local companies, 2. Resolving community issues, 3. Fostering local talents, etc.)
02. Providing support for SMEs associated with GRIs' branch offices
Purpose
To build R&D innovation competencies of local SMEs and aid in regional growth by utilizing the assets (e.g. high-quality workforce, high-tech research facilities, sole technologies) of GRIs' branch offices
